Bangladesh is a country where the significance of environmental matters is growing day-by-day. To equip people in local regions with understanding and awareness of how human activities impact the global climate and environment is of vital importance for sustainable growth. DAfB especially focuses on the area of sustainable agriculture, as a sector which is intertwined with the daily lives of many Bangladeshis.

Farmers, herders and fishers require hands-on training and understanding of the new challenges they will be faced with in the coming decades, as well as methods to overcome the challenges global warming, groundwater pollution, environment hazards and other similar issues may pose. Effective and sustainable  practices should be made available to farmers, herders and fishers, in order to ensure the sustainability of Bangladesh’s agricultural sector.
